Certificate of Qualification in French (CQF)

You have to pass the French examination in order to enter Lausanne University?

The Cours de vacances' Certificate of Qualification in French offers you the following benefits from level B1:

  • You are exempted from the French examination normally required for admission at Lausanne University. However, your application must be accepted by the Admissions Department (see our page Admission to Lausanne University)

IMPORTANT : you have to be registered at Lausanne University as a regular student. Please note that if you wish to start studying at Unil in September the enrolment deadline is at the end of April.

 

Conditions to obtain the Certificate of Qualification in French level B1

In order to obtain the Cours de vacances' Certificate of Qualification in French level B1, you have to :

  • Enrol in the Cours de vacances' Principal Programme and in the Mutual teaching in context programme
  • Complete the Mutual teaching in context programme, pass the final examination and attend the Principal Programme regularly (at least 80% of the hours)
  • Obtain the level B1 at the end of the programme
