As part of the Federal program for Equal opportunities, UNIL filed with the Swiss Confederation, in autumn 2012, a new action plan for gender equality. Within this framework, HEC Lausanne has set its own targets and measures to promote equality within the School. The Equal Opportunity Committee is responsible for implementing, monitoring and developing the faculty’s action plan.
Female Career Award HEC Lausanne (UNIL)
Launched in 2018 on the initiative of the Equal Opportunity Committee of HEC Lausanne, the Female Career Award honours twice a year female researchers affiliated with an institution other outside HEC. It aims to value and promote an exceptional woman's academic career, particularly to doctoral and post-doctoral students.

Career lunches are a forum for exchange between (post-)doctoral students from the HEC Faculty and professors from other universities. They provide participants with advice on the advancement of women's academic careers (e. g. career strategy, reconciling family life and work, application form).
