Cantonal Commission on Ethics in Human Research
This commission evaluates research projects involving human beings within the framework of the HRA /LRH (Federal Act on Research involving Human Beings).
Research Ethics Commissions at the University of Lausanne
By fall 2019, Research Ethics Commissions will be established to assess the ethical aspects of the research projects submitted to them and will issue certificates of ethical compliance. These commissions will only consider projects that do not fall within the HRA. UNIL researchers may decide to submit their project to a Research Ethics Commission (CER) via the electronic platform. The future CER-UNIL will deal with projects requiring institutional validation. It will delegate to the Interdisciplinary Ethics Commissions set up within the faculties the competence to evaluate various other research projects.
