Emelie Borello is currently an adjunct instructor for the LEAP Institute for the Arts at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado, USA. She has a strong background in theatre as a director, producer, and designer, as well as having worked for many years in the fields of management, human resources, and customer relations.
Emelie Borello received her Master’s degree in Arts Leadership and Administration from Colorado State University. Her thesis, Identity on the Stage: The relevance of plays to young adults in a modern society, focused on the perceptions of 18-24 year olds to the material presented in commonly viewed stage plays and their ability to relate to these themes personally through the lens of identity.
She is beginning work on her dissertation regarding celebration in the festival environment and the way in which differing communities experience this liminal release based upon quality of life factors.
